ABOUT / THE ROUTE SO FAR
I'm Julien, Senior Marketing Operations Manager at an international scale-up. Before that: an IT services company, a web agency, a consulting agency, financial services. Different sectors, sizes and jobs, which taught me to connect what organisations keep apart.
Today I design the systems that get marketing, sales and data working together: capturing the right demand, qualifying it, routing it to the right person, then measuring what actually moved. From Rennes, in French and English.
JOURNEY
Something catches my attention: a friction, an opportunity, a result that could be better. I dig in, understand the moving parts, build or improve what makes the difference. And along the way, I often find the next terrain.
Websites, web modules and event software for scientific societies and associations.
Working across client needs, UX, content, production and the realities of getting digital projects live.
A wider view of the problem before choosing the route to solve it.
SEO, lead magnets, calculators, conversational experiences and conversion paths around real customer needs.
Website, campaigns, CRM, data, lifecycle, routing, reporting and teams increasingly needed to work as one connected operating environment.
I have a scope. I don’t treat it as a hard boundary. When something nearby could meaningfully improve performance, I explore it, understand the opportunity and connect with the right people to make a case for it. Not to own everything, but to avoid leaving useful opportunities unexplored.
THE TERRAIN EXPANDED
Versatility wasn't the plan. It became the side effect of following opportunities far enough to understand what could create more impact.
Marketing Operations
That's where these paths meet today.
WHAT TRAVELS WITH ME
The visible problem is not always where the real friction sits. Context often changes the solution.
Use what already works, connect the missing pieces and build only what's actually missing.
A useful idea should survive contact with users, data, constraints and the people who actually need to operate it.
THE PATTERN
Over time, the route became a repeatable way of working: spot what is holding value back, build a credible route forward, measure what changed and iterate from there.
QUESTIONS
Marketing Operations and growth systems. In practice: lead management and qualification, scoring and nurturing, CRM and marketing automation, acquisition journeys, data quality and AI-assisted workflows. Examples in the case studies.
Whatever serves the problem: Marketo, Plezi or HubSpot for scoring, marketing automation and nurturing; Salesforce on the CRM side; CMS and the web environment; tag management and analytics; connected Ads campaigns (LinkedIn, Google, Microsoft/Bing); n8n and AI agent platforms to orchestrate it all. The bottle matters less than what it pours.
