PRIVACY

Privacy policy

Short version: no tracking or advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, and your messages are only read by me.

Data controller

Julien Bonnet, Rennes, France. Contact: julien@no-mad.io.

Cookies and audience measurement

This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies and loads no third-party tracker. Audience is measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and without identifying visitors (aggregated page views only).

The only exception is on the Contact page: the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-spam check may set a technical cookie that is strictly necessary to detect bots. Such cookies are exempt from consent, so no consent banner is needed.

Contact form and messages

When you use the contact form, write to julien@no-mad.io or contact me on LinkedIn, I process your first and last name, email address, message and, if you answer them, the optional questions (what brings you here, type of organisation).

  • Purpose: to reply to you and follow up on your request.
  • Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering, or steps taken at your request before a contract.
  • Retention: nothing is stored by the site. The message is kept in my mailbox for up to 3 years after our last exchange, then deleted.
  • Recipients: only me.
  • Processors: the form is handled by a Cloudflare function (the site's host), then forwarded by email through Brevo. According to Brevo, a French company, this data is hosted in the European Union.
  • Mailbox: messages (through the form or by direct email) reach julien@no-mad.io, managed by OVHcloud (France), which forwards them to a Gmail inbox (Google, United States). This transfer outside the European Union relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Anti-spam protection

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that it is used by a person rather than a bot. This check processes technical data (IP address, browser characteristics); it may set a strictly necessary technical cookie, with no advertising purpose, and is not used to track you across sites. Legal basis: legitimate interest in protecting the form from abuse.

Hosting and technical logs

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (United States). To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses. Transfers outside the EU rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, object to or restrict its processing, and ask for portability, by writing to julien@no-mad.io. You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
